Tecno Camon i Ace2 goes in the category of low-budget 4G Android phones. It is coming with Android Oreo 8.1 with Tecno Mobile’s HiOS custom user interface. An upgrade to Android Pie v9.0 is expected, but we can’t guarantee that and we also don’t know when the update should be available.
There is a typical one-day 3050 mAh battery. The performance is decent with 2 GB RAM and MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset. It can handle average daily tasks smoothly. But medium to high-level graphics tasks may cause some lag.
Both front and the back camera should provide satisfactory shots considering the price. There is an LED flash, portrait mode with bokeh effect and so on.
There is face unlock in this device but no fingerprint sensor. We couldn’t find any official info if the phone has USB OTG and FM Radio. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot but we don’t know what is the maximum capacity in Gigabyte. Overall, it is a decent smartphone in this price range, but we wish to have more details from Tecno official sources regarding its specifications
